Your health and safety are our utmost priority. Hillsboro Beach Resort team is committed to protecting the welfare of our guests and team members by providing a comfortable and safe environment. Our team has been fully trained on the importance of upholding the highest level of hygienic standards and is taking every precaution to protect our guests, our community, and our team members. We are monitoring the situation daily and will continue to reevaluate our procedures as circumstances change.

We will continue to follow all CDC guidelines, as well as state and county regulations and procedures, and have implemented a safety program, outlined below.

  • What can I expect upon arrival at the resort?

    We kindly ask that guests arrive at the resort wearing a mask. All guests, visitors, and team members are required to wear face coverings indoors in common areas and public spaces, as well as in outdoor public spaces when social distancing is not possible. Should you arrive without a face mask, one will be provided to you. Masks are required upon entering our restaurant, ROI, but can be removed once seated.

    Hand Sanitizer stations will be found in high traffic areas of the resort, including our valet stand and front desk.

    To remind our guests and staff of social distancing guidelines, we will clearly post via floor markers at the front desk, guest elevators, and dining venues.

    We have installed plexiglass shields at our front desk, and we are pleased to provide a touchless check-in process to guests who wish to access their guest room via a smartphone app.

    The use of the resort elevator will be restricted to members of your party, and elevators will be disinfected multiple times to ensure our guest's safety.

  • How is the resort keeping guests safe during the pandemic?

    To ensure our highest sanitation and cleanliness standards, accommodations will be sanitized prior to arrival using new technology and procedures to ensure safety, with housekeepers paying special attention to high-touch areas and items.

    Daily housekeeping services will be performed upon request only and will take place only when guests have vacated their room. All shared items such as pens and magazines have been removed from the guest rooms, however, are available upon request from the front desk.

    Returned guest key cards will be thoroughly disinfected before reuse.

    To facilitate social distancing in our restaurant, ROI, dining tables are suitably spaced at all indoor and outdoor venues.

    Hand sanitizer dispensers are located around the resort in high-volume traffic guest areas and back-of-house staff quarters, accompanied by signage throughout the property explaining proper hand-washing etiquette.

    Our housekeeping staff works diligently to keep public spaces disinfected, and we have installed plexiglass shields at our front desk and restaurant host stations.

    The use of the resort elevator will be restricted to members of your party, and elevators will be disinfected multiple times to ensure our guest's safety.

    All food and beverage employees have been trained on the "Serve Safe" curriculum. In dining areas, menus and condiments will be single-use and silverware will be rolled for sanitation reasons. Tables and chairs will be disinfected after each use, and cash transactions will be limited.

  • Which resort amenities are open?

    Fitness Center - The fitness center is open, and equipment is cleaned after each guest's use. Should you wish to reserve the fitness center for your sole use, please contact the front desk, and they will be happy to arrange that for you.

    Pool - The pool will be open, with lounges spaced utilizing social distancing guidelines. Lounges will be thoroughly sanitized between guests' use. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available.

    Roi - Our restaurant will remain open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Masks are required upon entering our restaurant but can be removed once seated. Tables and chairs will be disinfected after each use, and cash transactions will be limited.

    Beach. - Lounges will be spaced utilizing social distancing guidelines. Lounges will be thoroughly sanitized between guests' use.

    City Bikes - available daily from our front desk, bicycles will be sanitized between guests' use.

    Water Sports - Available on our Intracoastal dock, paddleboards and kayaks will be sanitized between guests' use.
